Kristina Andres

Kristina Andres was born in Greifswald in 1971 and grew up in Mecklenburg, Germany, where she currently resides. She studied art history and literature in Hamburg before attending the Hamburg University of Fine Arts, where she earned a diploma in free art with a focus on painting and drawing under Olav Christopher Jenssen. Since 2002, she has worked as a freelance artist and author-illustrator, creating numerous children's books that have received multiple awards from institutions including the German Academy for Children's and Young Adult Literature.
