Kirk Munroe

Kirk Munroe (1850–1930) was an American author and conservationist known for writing adventure novels for children and young adults, often featuring themes of the outdoors and Florida wilderness. He authored approximately 30 books, including notable works like 'The Flamingo Feather,' and co-founded organizations such as the American Canoe Association.
