Dr. Kimberly R. Mayes is a licensed clinical social worker, psychotherapist, educator, and founder of Essence Therapy & Wellness Center, where she focuses on culturally responsive care for BIPOC communities. She serves as Director of the Minority Fellowship Program at the Council on Social Work Education and has over 20 years of experience in social work, higher education, healthcare, and nonprofit leadership.
