Kimberly Newton Fusco

Kimberly Newton Fusco is an award-winning author of five novels for young readers published by Knopf Books for Young Readers/Penguin Random House, including Tending to Grace, Beholding Bee, The Wonder of Charlie Anne, and Chasing Augustus, many of which received starred reviews and the ALA Schneider Family Book Award. A former national-award-winning education journalist for 20 years, she overcame a childhood stutter and shyness to pursue her dream of writing. She is the mother of four grown children and lives in rural Rhode Island with her family, pets, and sheep.
