Kim Seonwook

Sunwook Kim is a South Korean pianist and conductor born in Seoul who gained international recognition by winning the prestigious Leeds International Piano Competition in 2006. He studied at the Korea National University of Arts and completed a Master's degree in conducting at the Royal Academy of Music, where he was subsequently made a fellow. He is notable as one of the few musicians in Korea who performs professionally as both a pianist and conductor.
