Kevin Murray
Dr. Kevin Murray is a prolific Australian writer, curator, teacher, and academic specializing in craft, design, and the handmade, serving as managing editor of Garland Magazine and secretary of the World Crafts Council – Australia, based in Melbourne. He previously directed Craft Victoria for seven years and co-authored the book Place and Adornment: A History of Contemporary Jewellery in Australia and New Zealand (2014). He coordinates Southern Perspectives and Sangam: A Platform for Craft-Design Partnerships, and holds roles such as Senior Vice-President of the World Craft Council Asia Pacific Region.
