Kevin McCarthy

Kevin Owen McCarthy (born January 26, 1965) is an American politician and former Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives from California, serving districts 22, 23, and 20 from 2007 until his resignation in 2023. He was the 55th Speaker of the House from January to October 2023 and previously served in the California State Assembly as Republican minority leader. After Congress, he founded the ALFA Institute and chairs Watchtower Strategies.[1][2][3][5]
