Kevin Kurtz

Kevin Kurtz is an award-winning children's author who writes nonfiction books about science and nature. Born in Fort Hood, Texas and raised in upstate New York, he holds degrees in English literature and elementary education. He has worked as a science educator and researcher, collaborating with scientists studying marine life, volcanoes, and paleontology, experiences that inform his over 28 published children's books.
