Kevin Brooks
Kevin M. Brooks (born 30 March 1959) is an English author best known for his young adult novels, including the Carnegie Medal-winning The Bunker Diary (2013). Born in Exeter, Devon, he held various jobs such as musician, crematorium handyman, and zoo vendor before publishing his debut Martyn Pig in 2002, which won the Branford Boase Award. He later ventured into adult thrillers with the A Dance of Ghosts series.
