Kenyon Evans-Nguyen

Kenyon Evans-Nguyen is a Professor of Chemistry and Director of the Forensic Science program at the University of Tampa, specializing in mass spectrometry and analytical chemistry applied to forensic science. He earned a B.A. in Biochemistry from Maryville College in 1998, a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2005, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in mass spectrometry at Johns Hopkins in 2008. His research focuses on developing new methods for detecting controlled substances, drugs, explosives, and ignitable liquid residues in forensic analyses, and he is the author of the book 'Forensic Chemistry' published by the American Chemical Society.
