Kenrad E. Nelson

Kenrad E. Nelson was an epidemiologist and internationally recognized AIDS expert who spent nearly four decades as a professor at Johns Hopkins University. He authored more than 500 articles and book chapters, co-edited the influential textbook Infectious Diseases Epidemiology: Theory and Practice, and served as president of the American Epidemiological Society.
