Kenneth Rogers
Kenneth Donald Rogers, known as Kenny Rogers, was an American singer-songwriter born in Houston, Texas, who rose to fame with hits like 'The Gambler' and collaborations with Dolly Parton and Dottie West.[1][2][3] Starting with doo-wop and jazz groups in the 1950s, he formed Kenny Rogers and the First Edition in 1967 before launching a successful solo country career, earning multiple Grammy Awards and selling millions of records.[1][4] Rogers also acted in films like 'Six Pack,' published books including his 2012 autobiography, and pursued photography until his death in 2020.[2][4]
