Kenneth Oppel
Kenneth Oppel is a Canadian author of children's and young adult literature, best known for his Silverwing series and the Airborn trilogy.[1][3] Born in Port Alberni, British Columbia, he began writing at a young age, publishing his first novel, Colin's Fantastic Video Adventure, at 17 after it was endorsed by Roald Dahl.[6][3] He has won numerous awards, including the Governor General's Literary Award for Airborn and a Printz Honor.[1]
