Kenneth D. Whitehead
Kenneth D. Whitehead (1930-2015) was a prolific Catholic author, linguist fluent in French, Italian, and German, and served as U.S. Assistant Secretary of Education for Postsecondary Education under President Ronald Reagan starting in 1988.[1][4] Born in Idaho to religious parents, he began his career as a diplomat and translator before becoming a prominent writer on Catholic topics, including ecumenism and higher education.[1][2][5]
