Kenneth A. Richmond
Kenneth Alan Richmond (1926–2006) was an English heavyweight wrestler who competed in four Olympic Games, winning a bronze medal in the Greco-Roman heavyweight category at the 1952 Helsinki Olympics and a gold medal at the 1954 British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Vancouver.[1][2][4] Born in London, he grew up near Pinewood Studios, began his career as an amateur wrestler, appeared in films like 'Night and the City,' worked as a gong striker in movies, and was a Jehovah’s Witness who served as a conscientious objector during World War II.[1][2]
