Ken Layne

Ken Layne is a writer, editor, and publisher best known for Desert Oracle, a field guide to the mysterious American Southwest featuring strange tales, desert lore, and oddities of the Joshua Tree region.[1][2] Born in Louisiana, he grew up in Phoenix and San Diego, lived in various deserts including the Sonoran, Colorado, Mojave, and Great Basin, worked as a reporter and managing editor of Wonkette, published the novel Dignity, and founded Desert Oracle in 2015.[3]
