Keane

John Brendan Keane (1928–2002) was an Irish playwright, novelist, and essayist from Listowel, County Kerry. He became one of Ireland’s best-known dramatists, with works that drew on rural Irish life and community politics, and he was a founder member of the Society of Irish Playwrights and an Aosdána member.
