Katy Kelly

Katy Kelly is an American children's author best known for her popular series 'Lucy Rose' and 'Melonhead,' set in Washington, D.C. She grew up on Capitol Hill as the daughter of journalists, including Marguerite Kelly, author of The Mother's Almanac, and worked as a reporter for People magazine, a feature writer for USA Today, and a senior editor at U.S. News & World Report. She studied Painting and Printmaking at Virginia Commonwealth University and aims to make kids laugh through her writing.[2][3][4]
