Kathy Prendergast
Kathy Prendergast (born 1958 in Dublin, Ireland) is an Irish sculptor, draftsman, painter, and installation artist known for exploring themes of identity, landscape, power, and mapping through diverse materials from found objects to bronze.[1][2][3] She studied at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin and the Royal College of Art in London, where she has lived since 1983, and gained international acclaim including the Premio 2000 for Best Young Artist at the 1995 Venice Biennale.[3][5][6]
