Kathleen Stevens

Kathleen Stevens, RN, PhD, is a veteran rehabilitation nurse with over 45 years of experience since 1977, specializing in the care and research of patients with spinal cord injuries. She has worked at prestigious institutions including the Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine at New York University, the acute Spinal Cord Injury Unit at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, and the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. Dr. Stevens has authored multiple chapters in the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses Core Curriculum on topics such as technology in rehabilitation, acute and chronic complications, and pain management.
