Katherine K. Preston

Katherine K. Preston is an American musicologist and professor emerita at William & Mary, known for her scholarship on 19th-century American musical culture, especially musical theatre, opera, and the work of George Frederick Bristow. She has served as Past President of the Society for American Music and is the author of several books on American music history.
