Katherine Center
Katherine Sherar Pannill Center (born March 4, 1972) is an American author of contemporary fiction, known as the 'reigning queen of comfort reads' by BookPage, with twelve New York Times bestselling novels including How to Walk Away, The Bodyguard, and The Rom-Commers.[1][2][3] Raised in Houston, Texas, she wrote her first novel in sixth grade, attended Vassar College where she won the College Fiction Prize, earned a master's in fiction from the University of Houston, and debuted with The Bright Side of Disaster in 2007.[2][5] She lives in Houston with her husband, two kids, and dog, crafting 'laugh-and-cry' stories about resilience.[1][4]
