Katherine Applegate
Katherine Alice Applegate (born October 9, 1956) is an American author of young adult and children's fiction, best known for the Animorphs, Remnants, and Everworld series, co-written with her husband Michael Grant. She won the 2013 Newbery Medal for her novel The One and Only Ivan, and has authored over 150 books spanning science fiction, fantasy, and adventure genres.
