Kate Swenson

Kate Swenson is a mother of four children, including her son Cooper who was diagnosed with severe nonverbal autism at age three, and the founder of the blog and platform Finding Cooper's Voice, where she shares her family's experiences and advocates for autism awareness.[1][2][3] She is a USA Today bestselling author of the memoir Forever Boy: A Mother's Memoir of Autism and Finding Joy, and co-authored Autism Out Loud in 2025, while also co-founding the nonprofit The More Than Project.[3][4][5] Living in suburban Minnesota, she is known as a speaker, influencer, and business owner who emphasizes kindness and the realities of motherhood.[1][2][8]
