Kate Sweeney

Kate Sweeney is a poet, writer, and English professor in Florida, holding a PhD in English from Binghamton University, an MFA in poetry from the University of Florida, and an MA in English from Kansas State University. She is the author of Better Accidents (Yellow Jacket Press, 2009) and Worrisome Creatures (Madville Publishing, 2022), which won gold in the 2022 Florida Book Awards, with her work appearing in publications like Best New Poets 2009 and Poet Lore.[1][6]
