Kate Quinn is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of historical fiction, known for works like The Alice Network, The Huntress, The Rose Code, and The Diamond Eye, often focusing on women's roles in history across eras from ancient Rome to World War II.[1][2][4] A native of southern California, specifically Long Beach, she graduated from Boston University with bachelor's (2004) and master's (2006) degrees in classical voice before becoming a full-time novelist.[1][4][6] She lives with her husband and rescue dogs, currently in Maryland or San Diego, and has upcoming works like The Astral Library in 2026.[2][5]
