Kate Clifford Larson
Kate Clifford Larson is a New York Times bestselling author, American historian, and scholar specializing in 19th and 20th century U.S. women's and African American history. Born and raised in Maine, she earned a B.A. and M.A. from Simmons College, an M.B.A. from Northeastern University, and a Ph.D. from the University of New Hampshire in 2003. She has written acclaimed biographies including Bound for the Promised Land on Harriet Tubman, Rosemary: The Hidden Kennedy Daughter, The Assassin's Accomplice on Mary Surratt, and Walk With Me on Fannie Lou Hamer.
