Karmen Franinovic

Karmen Franinović is a Professor of Interaction Design at Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), where she heads the Interaction Design subject area and directs the MA Interaction Design program. She is the founder of the Enactive Environments research group and her work focuses on enaction, materiality, sonic interaction, and artistic-design research methods. With a background as an architect and director of the Zero-Th Association, she explores responsive environments and active materials in public spaces.
