Karl P. Benziger

Karl P. Benziger is an associate professor in the Department of History at Rhode Island College, where he teaches courses in American Foreign Policy, Hungarian history and politics, the Cold War, Vietnam, Civil Rights, and History Education. He earned a Ph.D. in International Education from New York University in 1999 and has published works such as 'Imre Nagy, Martyr of the Nation,' drawing from research including interviews with Hungarian high school teachers. His scholarship was supported by Fulbright Teaching Scholarships and a Civic Education Project grant from the Soros Foundation.
