Karl Nipperdey

Hans Carl Nipperdey (1895–1968) was a German labour law expert and professor of German and civil law, as well as German legal history and commercial law, at the University of Cologne from 1925 to 1946 and 1947 to 1963.[1][4] He served as president of the Federal Labour Court from 1954 to 1963, appointed by the CDU government, but remains controversial due to his collaboration with the Nazi regime, including membership in the Academy for German Law and systematizing Nazi labour laws.[1]
