Karin Tanabe

Karin Tanabe is a Washington, D.C.-based historical fiction author and former Politico reporter known for novels such as The Gilded Years, The Diplomat's Daughter, and A Hundred Suns. Before turning to fiction, she worked as a celebrity and society journalist, appearing frequently as a celebrity and politics expert on shows like Entertainment Tonight and CNN. She is a graduate of Vassar College and writes bilingual fiction in English and French.
