Karen Turner

Karen Turner is an Australian author born to an English mother and Italian father, who transitioned from a 20-year career in financial services to writing historical fiction as an escape from corporate life[1][2][3]. She published her first short story collection, All That and Everything, in 2009, with many stories winning awards including the Society of Women Writers Victoria Biennial Literary Award[1][2]. Her novels include the Torn series: Torn, Inviolate, Stormbird, and Counterpoint[1][2][3].
