Karen J Warren
Karen J. Warren (1947-2020) was a philosophy professor and pioneer in ecofeminist philosophy at Macalester College, known for her work in environmental ethics, feminist philosophy, and critical thinking. She authored or co-authored eight books, including the influential 'Ecofeminist Philosophy: A Western Perspective on What It Is and Why It Matters' (2000). After her diagnosis with multiple system atrophy in 2016, she became an activist advocating for end-of-life options and medical assistance in dying.
