Karen Bunning is a professor of language, communication, and developmental disability, and a qualified Speech & Language Therapist with extensive experience supporting people with severe, profound, and multiple learning disabilities. Her research focuses on complex communication needs, adapted language and scaffolded interaction, narrative-based interventions, and inclusive community development with caregivers in low-income countries.
