Karen English
Karen English is a Coretta Scott King Honor Award-winning author of children's books, including the novel Francie, the Kirkus Prize finalist It All Comes Down to This, and series such as Nikki and Deja and The Carver Chronicles.[1][2][3] A former elementary school teacher raised in 1960s Los Angeles, she addresses themes of racial injustice in her accessible and authentic stories, and currently lives in Los Angeles, California with her family.[1][2][3]
