Karel Prach

Karel Prach, also known as Eros, is a Czech ecologist and university professor born on October 20, 1953, in Planá u Mariánských Lázní.[1] He pioneered the field of restoration ecology in the Czech Republic and works within the Restoration Ecology Group at the Faculty of Science, University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice.[1][4][5] His research focuses on vegetation succession and restoration ecology, and he is affiliated with the Institute of Botany of the Czech Academy of Sciences.[5]
