Kai Maristed

Kai Maristed is an acclaimed novelist and short-story writer known for fiction featuring horses.[1] Born in Chicago, she studied economics and political science at the University of Munich and MIT, and has worked as a broadcast journalist, playwright, and international business consultant in Germany and the United States.[1][4] Currently on the faculty at Emerson College, she is also a book reviewer and essayist whose work often explores the pressure of political and historical moments on individual choice.[1][6]
