JW Rinzler

J. W. Rinzler was an author, film historian, and former executive editor at Lucasfilm, where he worked for 15 years overseeing Star Wars and Indiana Jones publications, including New York Times bestsellers like The Making of Star Wars and The Complete Making of Indiana Jones.[1][2][3] Born in Lakewood, New Jersey, he grew up in New York City and Berkeley, lived in France for nearly a decade to begin his writing career, authored over 20 books translated into seven languages, directed the animated short Riddle of the Black Cat, and published his first novel All Up in 2020.[1][2][3][4] He resided on the northern California coast, was married with two adult daughters and a grandson.[1]
