Justo L. Gonzalez
Justo L. González is a Cuban-American historical theologian, Methodist elder, and prolific author renowned for his influential contributions to the development of Latin American and Hispanic theology. Born in Havana in 1937, he became the youngest person to earn a PhD in historical theology from Yale University and has authored over 150 books, including the acclaimed three-volume 'History of Christian Thought'. He is a founding figure of US Hispanic theology and has dedicated decades to promoting theological education for Hispanics through initiatives like the Hispanic Theological Initiative.
