Justin the Philosopher

Justin the Philosopher, also known as Justin Martyr, was a 2nd-century Christian apologist and philosopher born in Samaria (modern-day Nablus) who studied Stoic, Platonist, and other Greek schools before converting to Christianity. He became one of the earliest major defenders of the faith, wrote influential apologies and theological works, taught in Rome, and was ultimately martyred there around 165 CE.
