June Sobel

June Sobel is a children's book author known for series like the Goodnight Train books and Tow Truck Joe, having published 17 picture books.[1][2] Born in Queens, New York, in 1950, she grew up in Oceanside, Long Island, graduated from Skidmore College with a B.S. in 1972, and earned an M.F.A. from Stanford University in 1976.[3][5] She writes from Westlake Village, California, and enjoys world travel.[1][6]
