June Jamrich Parsons
June Jamrich Parsons purchased her first computer, an Apple II+, in 1981 with Dan Oja, becoming fluent in programming languages like BASIC and dBASE II, and later opening a computer retail store offering software instruction.[1][2] She taught at the university level for over 20 years, holds a doctorate in Educational Technology, and was certified by the ICCP in 1995.[1][2] Starting in 1992, she co-authored educational software and textbooks for Course Technology, including the New Perspectives series on computer concepts.[1][3]
