June Epstein

June Sadie Epstein (1918–2004) was an Australian author, musician, educator, and advocate for people with disabilities. She published over fifty works, including children's books, plays, scripts, and her 1988 autobiography *Woman with Two Hats*, often focusing on the experiences of the disabled following the tragic losses of two of her children. She worked as a music educator, broadcaster with the ABC, and received the Medal of the Order of Australia in 1986 for her contributions to the arts and disability welfare.[1][2]
