Julius Kaftan

Julius Wilhelm Martin Kaftan (1848–1926) was a German Protestant theologian and a leading representative of Neo-Kantian and Ritschlian theology. He taught at Basel and Berlin and is known for works such as The Truth of the Christian Religion, in which he defended Christianity’s rationality against atheistic philosophy.
