Julie Van Rosendaal is a Calgary-based Canadian food writer, broadcaster, and author of numerous best-selling cookbooks, including Dirty Food and Starting Out. She is the food columnist for The Globe and Mail and CBC Radio's Calgary Eyeopener, and her 2021 social media post about hard butter sparked the Buttergate scandal in Canada.
