Julie Olson

Julie Olson is a children's book author and illustrator who grew up as the sixth of nine children in a large family, born on the east coast and raised in the Midwest. After earning a BFA in Illustration, she moved to Manhattan, secured her first picture book deal, and has since illustrated over 20 picture books, authored some herself starting in 2010, earned an MFA in Graphic Design and Studio Arts in 2022, and worked as an adjunct professor and freelance designer while raising four children.
