Julian Fellowes
Julian Fellowes (born August 17, 1949, Cairo, Egypt) is a British actor, novelist, screenwriter, producer, and director best known for creating and writing the award-winning television series Downton Abbey (2010–2015) and for his Academy Award-winning screenplay for the film Gosford Park (2001). He has also penned novels such as Snobs (2005) and Past Imperfect (2008), and contributed to stage musicals including Mary Poppins and School of Rock. A life peer as Baron Fellowes of West Stafford since 2010, he resides in London and Dorset with his wife and son.
