Judy Pearson

Judith L. Pearson is a best-selling and award-winning author and graduate of Michigan State University who specializes in biographies exploring women's history, cancer survivorship, and courage.[1][3] Her works include award-winning books such as 'From Shadows to Life: A Biography of the Cancer Survivorship Movement' (2021 Nautilus Book Award gold winner), 'Crusade to Heal America: The Remarkable Life of Mary Lasker' (2024 Florida Book Award bronze), and 'Radical Sisters: Shirley Temple Black, Rose Kushner, Evelyn Lauder, and the Dawn of the Breast Cancer Movement' (2026 Florida Book Award gold).[1] Following her own diagnosis of triple negative breast cancer, she founded A 2nd Act, a platform celebrating stories of women's triumph and transformation.[6]
