Judith Moffatt

Judith Moffett (born 1942) is an American author, academic, poet, Swedish translator, and science fiction writer who served as a professor at the University of Pennsylvania from 1979 to 1994. She has published works across multiple genres including poetry, non-fiction, science fiction, and translations, earning awards such as the John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer in 1988 and the Theodore Sturgeon Memorial Award. Her novels *The Ragged World* and *Time, Like an Ever-Rolling Stream* were New York Times Notable Books.[1][2][4]
