Joye Newman

Joye Newman is a perceptual motor therapist who earned her M.A. in Education and Human Development with a specialty in Perceptual Motor Development from The George Washington University, integrating studies in behavioral optometry, occupational therapy, and psychology to develop a unique method of movement therapy.[2] She founded and directed Kids Moving Company (KMC) in Bethesda, Maryland, addressing the lack of encouragement for children's movement at home and school.[2][3] With over 90 combined years of professional success alongside Carol Kranowitz, she has worked with children of all abilities and authored books on child development through movement.[2][3]
